New Zealand Streetstock Championship Format

Vehicle Checking will be on Friday 9 January from 9am to 5pm
All cars MUST be finished Vehicle Checking by 5pm, unless you call ahead to say you are delayed
Racing starts on Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm
Elimination heats and repechage to find a maximum of 26 cars to contest the finals
Heats run under the existing 3 heat championship format
Qualifying heats will run over a minimum 15 laps
Final heats will run over a minimum 15 laps
Points will be awarded as per finishing position with maximum points for first in each heat descending in finishing order
The highest point scorer over three heats shall be the winner. In the event of a points tie there shall be a four-lap run off
There will be Non Qualifier racing on the Saturday Night
